No man's land

There's a land where no man lived.

Where only laughter reigned,

and not sorrow or grief.

Strange it was, when a man found it.

He called it his, without any guilt.

Solitary he was, in the no man’s land.

For none was there to lend him a hand.

Distress and dismay reigned everywhere,

and he found himself in utter despair.

No ears to hear and none to cheer,

lone he lived all these years!

And then came the traveller-

who lost his way. With shattered dreams,

he ended up there!

The man, started to speak,

and the traveler stared in weak!

For he was mute, in real!

Sad, it seemed.

But happy was the man,

For he got an ally, after all lone years!
