The day he made his vow ,

To protect his people from their foe

"Shed no tears ", he said,

"I'll come back if I'm not dead.

Never knowing that it was a lie ,

he bid his last good bye ...

Heart wrenching scene it was

To see him with no eyes ...

Days before, those eyes were open and

was always a cause for the nation's bond...

I shed no tears

For I had no fears.

His love for the tricolor

made me lose him forever...
